aussie customer service.

I GOT A FREE BOTTLE OF JUICE TODAY! *grins
was at supermarket with allan earlier in the afternoon cos he wanna get chips (read: junk food). walked down the aisle and saw this particular flavour that i like was on sale. but we've already got 2 juices at my place and i was contemplating whether to get it or not.
me: mmm, should we? but at home got orange and apple&mango liao lehhh... *makes a face
allan: ya lo. dont want la, save money
me: har. but on SALE leh. mmm, juice can keep hor? hurhur.
allan: hahahaha! buy la buy la. 2dollars+ only. ok la
me: *goofy grin
as we were at the cashier and paying, allan noticed that the person scanned the price in as 3dollars plus. when we were done with paying, he asked me "the juice, 2dollars and 78cents right?" im like "uh huh" then he said "think scanned wrong price, we go back and check again"
so we walked back to double check on the sale tag and reconfirmed its really on sale for that flavour. and then we went to the customer service counter to inform them we had been overcharged.
that guy, carrying our bottle of juice, went to see the price of it. and when he got back, he acknowledged that there had been an error and he said "you'll get this bottle free". its like POW WOW!!! you'll NEVER get this treatment in sg. NEVER. at most they'll just refund you the difference. but you wont get the product free. i like aussie's customer service level. they really give the customer the best service they can and its 2thumbs' up from me. :)
free juice! woohoo~ im gonna savour every bit of it. lol! :p
