power no more.

got back our power~ YAY!
reached home yesterday at 4+ with sara in tow and barely into the house, adrian told me the power was snuffed out.

didnt really feel the impact of not having power cos im due to be at sara's place to get some work done. thank God the girls (lou, sara and jen) suggested it over bubble tea after lunch, and thank God i agreed to go.

got home at 9+pm and the whole house is DARK. thank God adrian reminded me to bring along my torchlight, thank God too, for wenjie giving me his torchlight when he came over in august. adrian called western power and he said they refused to come down and take a look for us, cos apparently its "our own problem" and "we gotta solve it ourselves. call the real estate agent or landlord or something". X_X

i went to take in my clothes from the line WITHOUT light, only the trusty torchlight i had, then went to bath with the torchlight shining for me. thank God for the hot water. took a quick shower so that adrian can shower in hot water too. did a little reading by the torchlight and fell promptly to sleep by 11pm. 11pm!!! im asleep by 11pm! hah~ this is SOOO rare~~~ i usually sleep in the wee hours of the morning. :P

woke up early this morning to call our real estate agent, the electrician came by and said he cant open the switchbox and will help us infinitely about it cos he knows how much power meant to us. thank God for such an understanding electrician. another electrician with the key came by to open the switchbox AND on back the switch for us, THEN we have power. THANK GOD! he wanted to bring me the bill but when he called his office, they told him that they will settle with my real estate agent. thank God for that. it cost 60dollars to simply come down to my place and open the switchbox and on the switch. pffffffffffffff~~~ i dont have 60bucks with me menz =X i left like 15dollars? =X

anyways, now im a happy girl. made tea earlier (our kettle is electric kettle), charging my phone now, and online-ing! YIPPIE~ :)

thank God that the blackout was on a sunday and not on friday or saturday. and also, thank God that the electricians are efficient in getting our power back for us. *beams*
